We’ve had a great time in Brighton these past couple of weeks and it’s really cheered us up with all the crap that happened to the van, but we’re over that now. Promise.
Our good friends Mark, Lyver and Sam let us stay in their sweet house in Brighton and we tried to fit in as many gigs as we could to make up for lost time. We managed to play 10 Brighton gigs and also played in Hastings and Worthing, which were both great. On a side note, Mark and Lyver run their own design business from home called HOAV Studio (pronounced Hove) creating awesome websites but they also make BIG stuff like giant deckchairs, buckets and spades and crazy golf. Jack got his head stuck in their giant bucket and spade last year at Beach Break Live (see picture). They’re at Beach Break Live again this year creating giant stuff so definitely check them out as they are absolutely spiffing chaps and talented as heck. Check their website HERE!
Some good news for us was that mid way through our Brighton stay our CD’s turned up! Very excited to have our very first EP in our hands and they have already been flying off the merch table at gigs, as have the tshirts. So once again, a big shout out to Matt Withers for the designs.
So have a look at the pictures below of us at our gigs and of Jacks new radical Hawaiian shirt. There will be another video update coming very soon. Gig wise, we’re in Bath tonight and are playing local Dorset gigs this week and then onto Exeter next week! Things are definitely on the up!
